The Kidde range as illustrated above was discontinued from Q1 2010; discontinued products are listed below with current alarms that can be safely interlinked to the old.

Firex alarms use a different cable harness to the discontinued Kidde ones, and a different base plate, so the services of a qualified electrician may be needed when replacing alarms.

Slick® alarms use a different wiring configuration too.
